Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman to appear on 'Bachelor' season premiere

Megan Mullally has announced on Instagram that she will be appearing on the Season 23 premiere of The Bachelor alongside her husband Nick Offerman.

Mullally made the announcement on Sunday alongside a selfie of herself, Offerman and new Bachelor star Colton Underwood. The dating series is set to return on ABC on Jan. 7.

"The main thing is, we're on it, we got to talk to Colton and a bunch of the girls, we got some inside scoop from the producers," Mullally captioned the image after she compared Colton to actor Chris Pratt.

Mullally previously detailed on Jimmy Kimmel Live how she and Offerman are big fans of the Bachelor franchise including The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.

"We've been asked to go on there and we've tried to go every single time and we can't work out the scheduling," Mullally said at the time about being asked to guest-star on the Bachelor series.

Mullally and Offerman and the latest celebrity couple to take a selfie with Bachelor stars following Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis who took a photo with Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti in August. "It's unbelievable, this show. It's the greatest social experiment of all time," Kutcher previously said.

Kutcher and Kunis appeared together on Season 13 of The Bachelorette featuring Rachel Lindsay. The couple helped Lindsay host an obstacle course challenge that involved contestants having to change a diaper and perform household chores.

Gary Oldman on Winston Churchill role: 'There's another chapter'

Gary Oldman has stated that he wants to reprise his Oscar-winning role as former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in a new project.

"I've only scratched the surface. I think that there's another chapter here," the actor said Monday while appearing on BBC Radio 4's Today program. Oldman previously appeared as Churchill in 2017's Darkest Hour.

"Maybe a movie, maybe something on television," Oldman continued.

Oldman won the Oscar for Best Actor for Darkest Hour in March at the 90th annual Academy Awards. Oldman wore extensive prosthetics in order to appear as the historical figure.

Oldman also said on Monday that he has started working with Churchill's great-grandson Lord Randolph Churchill on adapting a 1947 short story that was written by the politician titled The Dream.

"I've been talking about maybe doing it as a sort of two-hander onstage," he said.

"My career has always been like, 'Well, I'm not the hot person, I'm just a normal person, so it doesn't matter.' It's not like, 'Oh, she's really falling apart! She was so hot when she was young' ... I'm just like, 'I was fine then, and I'm fine now.' That's how I think about that, thank God."

Which Oscar winner will executive produce 'Our World', a news show for children?

Angelina Jolie is teaming up with BBC to executive produce a news program titled Our World aimed at children aged 7 to 12.

The program, set to be released in 2019 as a weekly, half-hour show during a 10-week trial period, will cover current affairs and promote global media literacy among children.

Our World's mission is to help young people understand the world around them and encourage critical thinking. The program will have a global scope and kick off in English with the BBC looking to expand it into multiple languages.

"There has never been a time when it was more important to introduce the next generation to objective, impartial news and factual explanation of the events and issues shaping our world. Children today are exposed to a lot of opinion, but not necessarily to information that is fact-based and reliable," Jolie said in a statement.

"As a mother, I am very pleased that the BBC World Service is taking this step. It is also important to me that the project is global, and will help young people in different countries to be connected to each other and to have greater awareness and understanding of the news on an international basis," she continued.

Jolie is next set to star in an upcoming live-action fantasy drama from director Brenda Chapman titled Come Away opposite David Oyelowo. Jolie and Oyelowo will be featured in the film as the parents of siblings who go on to become classic fantasy characters Peter Pan and Alice from Alice in Wonderland.
