1. Stress is a predator to your body but feeling stressed every once in a while is normal. Being under stress can cause headaches, flutters in your chest, or even different appetite habits. It can even rewire the brain, leaving you more vulnerable to everyday pressures and mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. Stress tightens facial muscles and cause expression lines and constant stress can also contribute to acne by stimulating the glands to plump out more oil leading to more breakouts. If you're in a situation that is stressing you out, take a deep breath and walk away. Try to stay a way from the situation for at least 3-5 minutes to collect your thoughts and cool down.

2. Excessive alcohol intake is among the main causes of premature aging. Scientific studies have shown that alcohol dilates the blood vessels in the skin which leads to sagging skin and wrinkling. Excessive alcohol intake worsens acne, causes broken capillaries and leads to skin rashes, red spots and itchiness. Alcohol makes skin appear blotchy and seriously dehydrates your skin and body, which destroys the body's supply of vitamin A. Drinking too much also interrupts your beauty sleep.

3. Not getting enough exercise often leads to health problems. You don't have to spend 3 hours at the gym every day. A simple 30 minute walk a day is good enough to keep your body in good shape. Recent studies show that most older adults aren't getting enough activity because they don't walk or exercise enough and don't follow a balanced diet. A sedentary way of life seriously affects our state of health. It results in muscle loss, lowered aerobic capacity, high blood pressure, increase risk of developing diabetes, weight gain, decrease muscle strength and flexibility.

4. Smoking is one of the worst things we can do to our bodies and is one of the main reasons for premature aging. Smoking isn't only bad for your health, but it's also terrible for your beauty. It decreases the flow of blood to the skin, leaving your complexion dull, promotes wrinkles and fine lines, deprives your skin of oxygen and robs your body of essential vitamins. Smoking ruins the tiny capillaries that nourish the skin and ages skin faster than anything else aside from sun damage.

5. The sun is the number one enemy of our skin. Excessive sun exposure dries out your skin and increases the risk of skin cancer. The sun is the leading cause of dark, brown spots on the skin which can easily ruins radiant skin. Sun radiation is responsible for most of the unpleasant skin conditions such as sagging skin, premature aging, and enlargement of blood capillaries on the face. Excessive sun exposure often leads to rashes, itchiness, dryness and skin cancer. It's essential to use a sunscreen every day, even during the winter months.

6. The air pollution not only irritates your lungs but also affects the way you look. When we breathe in air pollution, very fine particles enter our lungs where they can cause many serious problems: trouble breathing, asthma, and nausea. High polluted air irritates the lungs, cause nausea, coughing and chest pain. Air pollution seriously affects the skin, increasing the oxidation of the sebum, causes pimples formation, and causes allergies. Air pollution can also aggravate health problems for the elderly and others with heart or respiratory diseases.
