Greetings Infomaniacs,
"Ars longa, vita brevis" is a Latin translation of a quote commonly attributed to the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates.
In English it would be, "Art is long, life is short."
And since we are still celebrating the masters and their work decades, even centuries after their death, I think that aphorism holds very true.
Enjoy!
