'Captain Marvel': Brie Larson crash lands on Earth in first trailer
Brie Larson is a hero without a memory in the first trailer for Marvel's next comic book epic, Captain Marvel...which can seen on our site, click here.

The clip, released Tuesday, features Larson as the titular character crash landing on earth, arriving inside a closed Blockbuster at night. The store represents how the film takes place in the '90s before the events of Iron Man which kicked off the Marvel cinematic universe in 2008.

Captain Marvel's entrance prompts the arrival of Nick Fury, portrayed by a returning Samuel L. Jackson, who wants to recruit Captain Marvel in order to fend off a space invasion.

As Captain Marvel explains to Fury, she has memory flashes of living on Earth, but has no recollection of where she comes from.

The trailer also hints at Captain Marvel's origin as an Air Force pilot and how she will be taking on the shapeshifting Skrulls who can appear as humans.

Captain Marvel, from directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, is set to arrive in theaters on March 8, 2019. Jude Law, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening and Ben Mendelsohn, as the film's villain, also star. Djimon Hounsou and Lee Pace will be featured, reprising their villainous roles from Guardians of the Galaxy.

??? Guess Who ???

Who's going to be the host and musical guest for the Season 44 premiere of 'SNL'?

Asia Argento seeks 'substantial damages' against Rose McGowan
Asia Argento said on Twitter Tuesday that she is moving forward on taking legal action against Rose McGowan and is seeking substantial damages after the actress released a statement concerning Argento's sexual assault allegations.

"To @rosemcgowan. The 24hr deadline given to retract your recent false statements about me has now passed," Argento said before referencing she will also be taking legal action against McGowan's partner Rain Dove.

"I must inform you & @raindovemodel that I've instructed Mishcon de Reya to seek substantial damages for deception, fraud, coercion and libel. You will hear from them shortly," she continued.

The tweet comes after Argento gave McGowan a warning on Monday, asking McGowan to retract her previous statement and apologize within 24 hours.

McGowan, in August, released a statement detailing how Dove handed over text messages to police between Argento and Dove in which Argento said she had sex with actor Jimmy Bennett.

Argento was accused of sexual assault by Bennett who said in documents obtained by The New York Times that Argento assaulted him when he was 17. The documents also show that Argento arranged to pay Bennett, now 22, $380,000. Argento has denied the allegations and said that the payment was the idea of her late boyfriend, chef Anthony Bourdain, in order to avoid any negative press.

Bennett was 7-years-old when he starred in the 2004 film The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things with Argento, who played his mother. Argento also directed the project.

McGowan and Argento were leaders in the #MeToo movement, with both women accusing Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault.

"You were my friend. I loved you. You've spent and risked a lot to stand with the MeToo movement," McGowan said in her statement. "I really hope you find your way through this process to rehabilitation and betterment. Anyone can be better - I hope you can be, too."

Tom Arnold, Mark Burnett scuffle at pre-Emmys party
Actors Tom Arnold and Roma Downey tweeted dueling accounts of a physical altercation involving Arnold and Downey's husband, Mark Burnett, at a pre-Emmys party.

Arnold, whose Viceland series, The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, is set to premiere Tuesday, tweeted Sunday night that Mark Burnett choked him at the Evening Before the Emmys event and "ran away with his torn pink shirt [and] missing gold chain."

Arnold said he contacted the Los Angeles Police Department about the incident.

Downey offered a different account, tweeting a photo of what appears to be a bruise on her hand.

"Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event. Is your TV show worth it Tom?" Downey said.

Arnold's series deals with the comedian's quest to obtain alleged recordings of President Donald Trump making racist and other disparaging remarks on the set of The Apprentice, which was produced by Burnett. Arnold, a former friend of Trump's, appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice.

Arnold replied to Downey's tweet, calling her account of the incident false.

"You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho," Arnold wrote. "I'm filing police report & suing you for defamation."

Arnold later tweeted that documentary filmmaker Bryan Fogel witnessed the attack and "has tape."

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed it was aware of an incident involving Arnold and Burnett, but no report had been filed.

Marty Singer, Arnold's lawyer, told The Hollywood Reporter that Burnett "attacked" Arnold.
