Next 'Die Hard' with Bruce Willis titled 'McClane'
The upcoming sixth installment in the Die Hard series starring a returning Bruce Willis will be titled McClane, a producer on the project has confirmed.

"You can tell our intention by the fact that the title page we handed in [for the script] says, McClane," producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura said to Empire on Sunday.

"We want you to get invested in John McClane more than ever before," he continued. Di Bonaventura also confirmed that the new film would go back and fourth between the past and present as it also explores a younger John McClane.

The McClane title was also confirmed by Entertainment Weekly. A previous title for the project was Die Hard: Year One.

Willis has starred as John McClane in all five previous Die Hard films. The new installment will be directed by Len Wiseman who helmed the fourth entry, Live Free or Die Hard.


Dave Grohl postpones Foo Fighters shows after losing voice
Dave Grohl was forced to postpone shows with the Foo Fighters after losing his voice.

The 49-year-old singer and musician rescheduled two concerts in Canada -- Tuesday in Edmonton and Thursday in Calgary -- to Oct. 22 and Oct. 23, respectively.

The Foo Fighters announced the news Monday on its official Twitter account. Grohl joked about U2 singer Bono, who also lost his voice over the weekend.

"FF RESCHEDULE 2 CANADA DATES DUE TO ILLNESS," the band wrote. "'That's the last time I ever make out with Bono' - DG."

Bono was performing with U2 at a show Friday in Berlin when he ended the concert early due to "a complete loss of voice." He said in a statement through U2's rep Sunday he'd soon "be back to full voice."

"So happy and relieved that anything serious has been ruled out," the singer said. "My relief is tempered by the knowledge that the Berlin audience was so inconvenienced."

Grohl and the Foo Fighters will next perform Saturday in Vancouver, B.C., while Bono and U2 will take the stage Tuesday in Cologne, Germany.

Henry Cavill joins Netflix's 'The Witcher' as Geralt
Henry Cavill has been cast as the lead role in Netflix's upcoming television adaptation of fantasy saga The Witcher from Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.

Cavill will be seen as Geralt of Rivia, a hunter known as a Witcher who uses supernatural abilities to battle deadly monsters.

The eight-episode series, based on Sapkowski's best-selling novels, will follow Geralt as he comes into contact with a powerful sorceress and a young princess with a dark secret.

Lauren Schmidt Hissrich (Daredevil, The Defenders) is serving as showrunner and executive producer with Alik Sakharov (House of Cards, Game of Thrones). Sakharov will be directing four episodes followed by Alex Garcia Lopez (Luke Cage, Fear the Walking Dead) and Charlotte Brandstrom (Outlander, Counterpart) each directing two episodes.

Cavill, best known for his role as Superman across the DC cinematic universe and who was last seen in July's Mission: Impossible - Fallout, is said to be a fan of the Witcher series. The fantasy drama will mark his first television role after starring as Charles Brandon in Showtime's The Tudors.

The Witcher was previously adapted into a best-selling video game series from developer CD Projekt Red.The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the latest entry in the video game series, took home awards for Game of the Year, Developer of the Year and Best Roleplaying Game during the Game Awards in December 2015.


Steve Guttenberg says new 'Police Academy' is in development
Steve Guttenberg announced on Twitter that a new film in the Police Academy series is in development.

"Adam , the next Police Academy is coming, no details yet, but it is in a gift bag being readied!" the actor said on Monday in response to a fan requesting that a new film in the series be made in London.

Guttenberg, 60, starred as Carey Mahoney in the first four Police Academy films that followed a rag-time team of police recruits as they go through training and then later fight crime.

The comedy series spanned seven movies in total with the last entry arriving in 1994 with Police Academy: Mission to Moscow. Michael Winslow and Bobcat Goldthwait were also a part of the ensemble cast.

The Police Academy films also spawned an animated series and a toy line.

Which celebrity couple performed a duet for their 30th anniversary?

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick expressed their love with a duet on their 30th anniversary.

The 60-year-old actor and 53-year-old actress performed a sweet version of the Bee Gees song "To Love Somebody" on their wedding anniversary Tuesday.

Bacon recorded and shared the moment with fans on Instagram. He couldn't help but gush about Sedgwick in the caption.

"30 years with this amazing woman. She is the music in my life. #luckyguy #tolovesomebody #beegees @kikkosedg," the star wrote.

The Following alum also posted a photo of Sedgwick against a scenic backdrop.

"#30years. I Love this person. @kikkosedg," he wrote.

Bacon and Sedgwick married in 1988 after meeting on the set of the PBS adaptation of Lemon Sky the year prior. The couple are parents to two children, 29-year-old son Travis and 26-year-old daughter Sosie.

"I had no great role models in terms of healthy marriages, but I knew in my heart and soul that he was the right person," Sedgwick told Good Housekeeping in 2010. "It was an unquestionable truth of mine. I've never had anything like that before or after."

Bacon played Ryan Hardy on The Following, and has since appeared in the movies The Darkness and Patriots Day. Sedgwick is known for portraying Brenda Leigh Johnson on The Closer and Madeline Wuntch on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
