Kevin Smith celebrates 51-pound weight loss
Kevin Smith celebrated losing 51-pounds since having a massive heart attack in February on Instagram by posting a new photo of himself that highlights his weight loss.

"Six months ago from right now, I was in the hospital recovering from a heart attack I'd had the night before. When I went to my Doctor a week later, she told me 'The best thing you can do for yourself now is to lose 50 pounds.' Half a year later, I can report that I followed Doctor's orders: I started at 256 and now I weigh 205," the filmmaker said on Sunday. He gave thanks to Weight Watchers and his daughter Harley Quinn Smith for helping him switch over to a plant-based diet.

"Since I never wanted to see the inside of a hospital ever again, I simply copied the Kid. So this wasn't a diet: these results came from a total lifestyle change of eating solely plant-based foods (which is tough because I hate vegetables)," he said before starting to thank fans.

"Never underestimate the power of positive feedback: you folks telling me I looked better or healthier helped me stick with it. An encouraging word can really make a difference in someone's life and your compliments kept me going! And just look where I went!" Smith said.

Smith suffered the heart attack after performing a standup special. He decided to call an ambulance after feeling ill with doctors discovering that had a 100 percent blockage of his left anterior descending artery.

Smith has continued to document his recovery and weight loss on social media, posting in April that he had lost 26 pounds following the heart attack.

"My job.... there's no certainty. This peace... is more haunting than anything. I want to know the whole story," the actor says as part of a voiceover.

True Detective Season 3, set to premiere in January 2019, will be set in three different time periods and will explore a mystery that spans decades.

The trailer also features stars Carmen Ejogo, Scoot McNairy, and Mamie Gummer. Stephen Dorff, Ray Fisher, Michael Greyeyes, Jon Tenney, Deborah Ayorinde, Rhys Wakefield, Sarah Gadon, Emily Nelson, Brandon Flynn, Michael Graziadei, Josh Hopkins and Jodi Balfour are also set to appear.

Miranda Lambert says she is 'single and happy'
Country music star Miranda Lambert described herself as "single and happy" in a new interview.

The 34-year-old singer -- who is divorced from recording artist Blake Shelton -- was speaking to The Tennessean newspaper about her latest collaboration with her Pistol Annies bandmates when she made the comment.

"Since our last record, we've had two divorces, a marriage, two babies and one on the way," Lambert said, referring to herself and fellow musicians Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe. "Now we've got two husbands, one single and happy, and I just feel like we live such crazy lives. That's a lot of life to be lived in just five years between three women, and I feel like we're just telling the story of what all of that is and doing it very honestly."

Lambert admitted her high-profile romances aren't always easy to manage.

"Love is a hard road sometimes and it's been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I'm definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I've had some really good songs come out of it," she said. "You've got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts."

UsMagazine.com said Lambert recently broke up with Turnpike Troubadours singer Evan Felker after dating him for about four months. Singer Anderson East was her boyfriend before that.

Lambert and Shelton were married 2011-15.

Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum have 'Smallville' reunion
Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum had a Smallville reunion alongside Ian Somerhalder Sunday at comic book convention Wizard World Chicago.

Rosenbaum posted on Instagram a selfie he took with Welling and Somerhalder that featured the three actors posing together.

Smallville, which chronicled the early adventures of Clark Kent before he becomes Superman, ran for 10 seasons on The WB, later The CW, from 2001 to 2011. Welling starred as Clark Kent with Rosenbaum as the villainous Lex Luthor.

Somerhalder, best known for his role on The Vampire Diaries, appeared on Smallville briefly as Adam Knight. Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack, Sam Jones III, Annette O'Toole, John Schneider and John Glover also starred on the superhero drama.

Rosenbaum recently spoke about possibly doing a Smallville animated series, noting that he is interested in portraying Lex Luthor again without needing to shave his head.

Mack, in April, made headlines when she was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy.

Which judge has been fired from 'X Factor Italy'?

Asia Argento has been dropped from X Factor Italy as a judge after the prominent #MeToo leader has been accused of sexual assault.

Argento will be seen on the first seven episodes of X Factor Italy when it debuts on Sept. 6, but then will be replaced when the show begins airing live on Oct. 25.

The first seven episodes have already been filmed with Argento being kept on in order to avoid restarting the auditioning process which featured 40,000 people vying for the competition show's final 12 spots, producers Sky Italia and FremantleMedia Italia said.

Argento, an Italian actress and filmmaker, helped start the #MeToo movement in October after she accused Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment alongside 13 other women. She gave a speech at the Cannes Film Festival in May about Weinstein and his sexual misconduct through the years at the event.

Argento was accused of sexual assault by actor Jimmy Bennett who said in documents obtained by The New York Times that Argento assaulted him when he was 17. The documents also show that Argento arranged to pay Bennett, now 22, $380,000.

Bennett was 7 years old when he starred in the 2004 film The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things with Argento, who played his mother. Argento also directed the project.

Argento has denied the allegations and said that the payment was the idea of her late boyfriend, chef Anthony Bourdain, in order to avoid any negative press.

"Anthony insisted the matter be handled privately and this was also what Bennett wanted. Anthony was afraid of the possible negative publicity that such person, whom he considered dangerous, could have brought upon us," she said in a statement.
