Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Considering the scriptures we looked at this week, the above makes sense, although it causes one to stop in their tracks, in surprise. The power of life and death? That is a lot of power we are talking about here. It strengthens, even more, if that is possible, my resolve to guard EVERY WORD that comes out of my mouth!

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Be brief; for it is with words, as with sunbeams. The more they are condensed, the deeper they burn.

-Robert Southey

--FEATURED FUNNY:

Two ants were running along at a great rate across a
cracker box.

"Why are we going so fast?" asked one.

"Don't you see?" said the other. "It says, 'Tear along dotted line.'"

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. How many angels did Jesus say that His Father will provide for Him, if he prayed to Him?

A. More than twelve legions of angels.

Matt 26:52-54

But Jesus said to him, "Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?"
