Millie Bobby Brown meets ancient creatures in 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' trailer
Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for its upcoming movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

The 2 1/2-minute preview, which debuted during the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, follows the blockbusters Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island.

"The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah," said a message accompanying the clip on YouTube. "When these ancient super-species -- thought to be mere myths -- rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance."

The clip features Stranger Things standout Millie Bobby Brown, Bate Motes alum Vera Farmiga, Game of Thrones baddie Charles Dance and Bloodline actor Kyle Chandler.

"Our world is changing," the voice of Farmiga's scientist character can be heard as Brown searches with binoculars for danger from a city rooftop and buildings collapse around her.

Farmiga continues: "The mass extinction we feared has already begun and we are the cause. We are the infection. But like all living organisms, the Earth unleashed a fever to fight this infection. Its original and rightful rulers -- the titans. For thousands of years, these creatures have remained in hiding around the world and, unless all the titans are found, our planet will perish and so will we."

Although the massive creatures are seen wreaking havoc, Brown expresses compassion for them, even reaching out to touch the snout of one when she meets it face to face.

Katharine McPhee shows off engagement ring on Instagram
Katharine McPhee is giving fans a first glimpse of her engagement ring.

The 34-year-old singer and actress shared a photo of her diamond sparkler Saturday on Instagram following her engagement to 68-year-old musician David Foster.

McPhee got engaged to Foster this month during a trip to Italy. Her dad, Daniel McPhee, died just two weeks later.

"It's been a hard week. Lots of tears but I want to thank my friends and family for all the love and support," the star wrote. "My dad was so happy for me. My ring was the last thing I showed my dad before he passed and makes me smile when I look at this as a reminder of our last conversation."

"My love wisely said to me the other day that 'death is the only thing that is 100 percent inevitable and the thing we are least prepared for.' So today we're celebrating life and not forgetting love," she said.

McPhee had announced her dad's death in a post last week. She remembered her dad as a caring person and her "biggest champion."

"He was so kind and caring and made sure we knew how much he loved us. Not sure my heart will ever be the same," the star wrote. "I love you Papa. I already miss you so much. This hurts."

McPhee is known for playing Karen Cartwright on Smash and Paige Dineen on Scorpion. She released her fifth studio album, I Fall in Love Too Easily, in November.

Cardi B on 'sweet' daughter Kulture: 'She melts me like butter'
Cardi B says daughter Kulture Kiari is a "sweet" baby.

The 25-year-old rapper gave an update her baby girl Sunday after welcoming the infant with her husband, Migos rapper Offset, this month.

Cardi B couldn't help but gush about Kulture on Twitter, despite her daughter being fussy. She told her followers she thinks of her baby girl as Kiari when she's in a "mood."

"Kulture is not Kulture today she Kiari with the mood. But o maaann i love my sweet sweet baby," the star wrote, adding a heart emoji. "She melts me like butter."

Cardi B also responded to a fan who asked what it feels like to be a mom.

"Really hard to explain. Its beautiful how fast mother instinct kicks in ...never wanna leave my baby side," she wrote.

Cardi B gave birth to Kulture on July 10 after confirming her pregnancy in April. She thanked friends and fans for their well-wishes in a post last week.

"Thank you everybody for the congrats," the rapper wrote. "It's been a little hard for me to reply back because this mommy job requires full day, all day, all night attention. I love you guys."

Cardi B and Offset cozied up during a doctor's checkup for Kulture last week. The couple confirmed in June that they secretly married in September prior to their highly-publicized engagement in October.

Chloe Bennet, Logan Paul make red carpet debut as couple
Chloe Bennet and Logan Paul made their red carpet debut as a couple after confirming their relationship this month.

The 26-year-old actress and 23-year-old YouTube star attended the Entertainment Weekly San Diego Comic-Con party Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.

Bennet was all smiles in a one-shoulder, ruffled pink minidress at the event. She and Paul stayed close as they posed for photos.

Bennet and Paul had confirmed dating rumors in separate Instagram posts this month. Paul credited the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star with risking "her career and personal friendships" to help him "grow as a human being."

"i never thought it was possible but this girl has won my heart. one of the MANY reasons i love Chloe: over the past year she's experienced ALL my ups & all my downs. and as most of you know... mainly downs. BUT. she never turned her back on me," Paul wrote July 17.

"To anyone giving her a hard time, please do not hold Chloe accountable for MY actions in the past; instead recognize her efforts to help me become a better man & do good on this floating rock. That's a queen right there. My queen," he gushed.

YouTube temporarily demonetized Paul's channel in February after the star sparked outrage by shooting a taser at a dead rat in one of his videos. He previously drew criticism after posting a video in December of an apparent suicide victim in Aokigahara forest.

The 28-year-old country star and 30-year-old singer confirmed dating rumors Wednesday by posting a cute photo together on Instagram.

The picture shows Pearce smiling and embracing Ray as he nuzzles her cheek. Pearce referenced their first meeting at the Nashville Palace in the caption.
