Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

He who hates, disguises it with his lips,
And lays up deceit within himself;
When he speaks kindly, do not believe him,
For there are seven abominations in his heart;
Though his hatred is covered by deceit,
His wickedness will be revealed before the assembly.

Wow! Hating someone is not worth having seven abominations in your heart! Let Go And Let God--a great slogan if you are struggling with hatred. The hatred is just not worth the cost!

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S DAILY NOT SO TRIVIAL TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What did Jonah suggest that the men do with him?

Answer below.

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Long ago... I resolved that I would permit no man, no matter what his color might be, to narrow and degrade my soul by making me hate him.

-Booker T. Washington

--FEATURED FUNNY:

At the start of every service, the pastor would give the blessing, after which the congregation responded, "And also with you."

One Sunday, our pastor appeared to be having difficulty with the sound system during the singing of the entrance hymn. At the conclusion of the song, he said, "There seems to be something wrong with the mike."

The congregation automatically responded, "And also with you."

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What did Jonah suggest that the men do with him?

A. Throw him overboard.

Then the men were exceedingly afraid, and said to him, "Why have you done this?" For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. Then they said to him, "What shall we do to you that the sea may be calm for us?" -- for the sea was growing more tempestuous.

And he said to them, "Pick me up and throw me into the sea; then the sea will become calm for you. For I know that this great tempest is because of me."

Jonah 1:10-12
