Proverbs 15:17

Better is a dinner of herbs where love is,
Than a fatted calf with hatred.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Hatred is a powerful emotion, and at times, people can be consumed with it. I once heard a man say that he would never allow anyone to have that much power over him. If someone stirs up that strong of an emotion in you, ask the Lord what you should do about it! Perhaps it will lead you into action? Confronting that person IN LOVE? Striving to rectify any wrong that person is doing to others or yourself? Certainly prayer should be your first step.

God Bless You!

Q. What did the sailors do in order to find out the cause of the terrible storm?

Answer below.

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Hatred is a low and degrading emotion and is so poisonous that no man is strong enough to use it safely. The hatred we think we are directing against some person or thing has a devilish way of turning back upon us.

-Thomas Dreier

--FEATURED FUNNY:

"This house," said the real estate salesman, "has both its good points and its bad points. To show you I'm honest, I'm going to tell you about both.

The disadvantages are that there is a chemical plant one block south and a slaughterhouse a block north."

"What are the advantages?" inquired the prospective buyer.

"The advantage is that you can always tell which way the wind is blowing."
