Hello Video Lovers,

It's hard to listen to this song from the 1954 movie The Student Prince and not feel a desire to lift a stein of cold, foamy beer. It's too bad I keep getting asked to leave when I start singing in bars.

A bit of trivia; the great Mario Lanza was supposed to star in this film and even recorded the soundtrack. He walked off the set when the director criticized his singing and refused to come back. But due to his contract the film still used his recordings of the songs even though they found another actor to play the lead.

So yes, that's Lanza singing. What a set of pipes!
