Greetings,

The only film on this week's line up that I have seen was
'No Strings Attached'. I must say, when I was walking into
the theatre I was ready for just another stereotypical chick
flick. However, this film surprised me at times and both
actors (Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher) interacted very
well. Over all, I suggest 'No Strings Attached', but it may
not be for everyone; although superior, it is still a chick

'Blue Valentine' DVD

Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling are paired in this drama
about a failed marriage, and Williams got a Best Actress
Oscar nomination for her work here. Dean (Gosling) and Cindy
(Williams) are first shown at their modest Pennsylvania home
about six years into their marriage. He's a house painter,
she's a nurse, they have a daughter who's about five, and
the marriage is unraveling. Then Dean and Cindy are shown as
they were back when they met, went through a courtship and
got into a sexual relationship. It's left to the viewer to
guess how things must have gradually gone wrong.


'No Strings Attached' DVD

Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher star in this ribald
romantic comedy directed by Ivan Reitman. Adam (Kutcher) is
a TV production assistant whose girlfriend leaves him for his
father (Kevin Kline). Adam then gets drunk and passes out on
the couch of an acquaintance, Emma (Portman), a doctor with a
hectic hospital job. In the morning they have hurried sex and
agree to continue a sexual relationship with the proviso
there must be no emotional entanglements. Supporting actors
include Cary Elwes, Greta Gerwig, Lake Bell, Olivia Thirlby
and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges.

'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' DVD (on the 13th)

This documentary focuses on teen pop sensation Justin Bieber
and contains footage from his 2010 concert tour, partic-
ularly his performance at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Appearing with him are Usher, Miley Cyrus, Jaden Smith and
Snoop Dogg. Bieber's songs include "One Time," "U Smile" and
"One Less Lonely Girl," in which he invites a girl from the
audience onstage to act as the object of his affection. The
documentary contains interviews of Bieber's handlers and
coaches, home video of his childhood, and shows him in his
hometown of Stratford, Ontario.
