The play is a series of 20 poems, parts of which are carried over into the film as dialogue, so this movie is not like Perry's mainstream work. But the film does cap- ture some of the struggles faced by African-American women. Interview with Tyler Perry: 'Life as We Know It' DVD Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel are paired in this romantic comedy set in Atlanta. Holly (Heigl) runs a bakery, while Messer (Duhamel) works in TV for the local NBA team. Their mutual friends, the Novaks, set them up on a blind date, but it's a disaster. Then the Novaks are killed in an auto acci- dent, and it turns out they wanted their one-year-old baby to be cared for by Holly and Messer. Even though Holly and Messer dislike each other, for the good of the child, they move into the Novaks' house and continue pursuing their careers while caring for the baby, but there are complica- tions. Watch a Clip: 'Paranormal Activity 2' DVD This is the follow-up to the ultra-low-budget horror film Paranormal Activity that was a huge box-office hit, and this time around the budget is many times bigger. Again, the film purports to be made from found footage, this time mostly from security cameras. The stars of the earlier movie, Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat, return, but only in supporting roles.
