Saturday, July 5, 2014Hello Music lovers,
The term "super group" comes and goes to describe any band with a slightly more famous frontman. That is not the case with Them Crooked Vultures. Formed in 2009, Dave Grohl decided he'd like to return to his drummer roots and joined Josh Homme (from Queens of the Stone Age) and mutual friend, John Paul Jones (of Led Zeppelin).
Their one and only album so far (currently on hiatus) sounds consistently good (though I wouldn't say great) with great blues-rock notes and alternative sound. Since they are all such great musicians, it's no wonder they sound amazing live, so here's a great rendition of New Fang.
Pleasant Watching,
