Hello Animal Lovers,

The numbat is a completely new animal to me! I've never heard of it up until just a week ago when a fella named Unidan (internet name) wrote about it on his blog. Like many marsupials, they are quite unique and native to Australia. These little buggers eat ants and termites with their super long tongues!

In this video, you see some human-raised numbats who kindly feed and prepare them for release into the wild.
