Hello Music lovers,

First of all, I have to thank my many readers writing in to me - you're a great bunch! But I learned something new: Jethro Tull is NOT actually the name of the fella singing in the group! I have to admit, I didn't even do my usual research on the band, since I just naturally assumed it was either his name or stage name. The lead singer and founder of the group (known as Jethro Tull) is named Ian Anderson. Who Knew? Well apparently you guys did! But anyway, on with today's issue.

Neil Young and Pearl Jam have always had a special relationship. Both have been mutual fans of the other forever, and they frequently collaborate. Eddie Vedder even inducted Young into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

It's common for musicians to gradually get more and more famous and collaborate with other legends, but Pearl Jam got a huge amount of success early on. So in 1993's MTV Music Awards, they performed alongside Neil Young for his hit, Keep Rockin in The Free World. It's a super-energetic performance from rock-veteran Neil Young, and sounds great.

Pleasant Watching,
-Khalil

There are few musicians who could keep up with Jethro Tull, this clip is from 1977, where he's probably at his most energetic.
