Hello Music lovers,

Did anyone watch that Beatles special a few weeks ago? It was to celebrate the 50th Anniversary for when the Beatles played on Ed Sullivan. I watched for the simple reason of listening to some good bands' takes on Beatles tunes.

Even bad covers of the songs are fun to listen to - because at the heart of almost every Beatles song, lies inherent genius and catchy melodies. I heard a good cover the other day, a much more bluesy take on Love Me Do, by Lisa Lauren. It's pretty cool how the song is kind of stretched out a bit, and the downtempo nature makes it seem so different. Enjoy it!

Also, just for the heck of it, I decided to make the images in the newsletter bigger!
