Saturday, June 7, 2014Hello Music lovers,
James Taylor used to be a pretty depressed guy. It shows in his wistful playing style, but really helps to make some beautiful music. As much as I appreciate good studio recordings, having a uniquely great live sound is always impressive. Here's a vintage clip from 1970, where James Taylor plays Carolina In My Mind.
His voice is powerful, yet vulnerable, and the guitar plucking sounds great in the echoey room. Truly a great performance!
Pleasant Watching,
