'Leap Year' DVD

Amy Adams stars in this romantic comedy, in which she is
paired with Matthew Goode. Anna (Adams) is a Boston resident
whose longtime boyfriend Jeremy (Adam Scott) is slow to get
the idea she wants him to propose. Then Anna hears about the
Irish tradition where a woman can propose to a man on
February 29, a date when Jeremy is in Dublin attending a
conference. She follows him across the Atlantic so she can
pop the question, but due to inclement weather, she ends up
being escorted around rural Ireland by a guy named Declan
(Goode), and they start to fall for each other.

'Nine' DVD

Directed by Rob Marshall (Chicago), this musical was adapted
from the show that first played Broadway in 1984 and again
as a revival in 2003. The story is based on Fellini's 8 1/2
(1963). In the movie Nine, Guido (Daniel Day-Lewis) is a
filmmaker going through a personal and professional crisis as
he begins his ninth film. Guido is surrounded by a bevy of
women, including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress
(Penélope Cruz), his lead actress (Nicole Kidman), his
costume designer (Judi Dench), his mother (Sophia Loren), a
journalist (Kate Hudson) and a prostitute (Fergie of the
Black Eyed Peas).

'Tooth Fairy' DVD

Dwayne ("The Rock") Johnson stars in this family comedy.
Johnson plays Derek Thompson, a tough minor league hockey
player with a single mom (Ashley Judd) for a girlfriend. He
tells his girlfriend's young daughter that the tooth fairy
? the mythical nocturnal creature who exchanges cash for
baby teeth that have fallen out ? doesn't exist. But it turns
out there's not just one tooth fairy, there's an army of
them, and fairyland authorities sentence Derek to serve in
that capacity for two weeks, which he does wearing a pink
tutu. Appearing in supporting roles are Julie Andrews and
Billy Crystal.
