Proverbs 26:20-22

Where there is no wood, the fire goes out;
And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases.
As charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire,
So is a contentious man to kindle strife.
The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles,
And they go down into the inmost body.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Probably most of us have been hurt by gossip in one form
or another. Sadly, too, many of us have also been guilty
of gossiping. Many of us know the feeling of excitement
and even power when we have a juicy story to tell. May
we pray for the strength, next time, to silence our
tongues and pray, instead, for those who are involved
in our juicy news.

--FEATURED FUNNY:

Because I couldn't unplug the toilet with a plunger, I had
to dismantle the entire fixture, no small feat for a non-
plumber.

Jammed inside the drain was a purple rubber dinosaur, which
belonged to my five-year-old son.

I painstakingly got all the toilet parts together again,
the tank filled, and I flushed it. However, it didn't work
much better than before! As I pondered what to do next, my
son walked into the bathroom.

I pointed to the purple dinosaur I had just dislodged and
told him that the toilet still wasn't working.

"Did you get the green one, too?" he asked.
