Hello Everyone...

Here's a real treat - many of you are probably wondering where all the classic hard rock went - I'm talkin' about the kind that Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and even Jimi Hendrix used to play. You just don't hear too much of it on the airwaves anymore today, but there is one band that shines as a metal beacon in today's contemporary music: Wolfmother. Their name, look, and sound echoes the greats in stoner rock. They frequently cover all the classic 60's bands they borrow heavily from in influence.

While they are perhaps best known for their Grammy-winning tune, Woman, or their iPod commercial featuring Joker and the Thief, the band has a steady following. This one, Back Round comes off their second album, entitled Cosmic Egg.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge
A rare and telling look at their performance at SNL: it's lead guitarist vs. singer in this very public display of band tension. (Oh, but it still rocks)
