3 Doors Down bassist Robert Todd Harrell charged in car crash

3 Doors Down bassist Robert Todd Harrell has been charged with vehicular homicide for his alleged role in a Nashville car crash, officials said. Harrell, 41, also has been charged with bringing controlled substances into jail. The musician allegedly was speeding Friday night when his car hit a pickup truck, sending it down an embankment and killing the driver, Paul Howard Shoulders, who was not wearing a seat-belt and was ejected from the vehicle. Police told CNN the musician showed signs of impairment at the time of the incident and admitted he drank hard cider and took Lortab and Xanax before getting behind the wheel. After he was arrested, police allegedly found a plastic bag concealed in Harrell's sock, which contained eight Xanax pills, 24 oxycodone pills and four oxymorphone pills. He remained in jail Monday morning in lieu of $100,000 bond, CNN said.

Actor Matthew McConaughey starts clothing line

Actor Matthew McConaughey says he is working with Canada's Grand National Apparel on a clothing collection inspired by his active lifestyle. A portion of sales from his JKL clothes will support the Just Keep Livin Foundation, a non-profit organization McConaughey founded, which implements after-school fitness and wellness programs, in inner-city high schools. "I'm starting this brand because it accents a positive. It spreads a good word, creates incentive, puts a smile on my face and it's fun," McConaughey said in a statement Monday. "Matthew's very active lifestyle is what led him to the idea for a fashion-forward, functional men's clothing line that blends the fabric and styling of performance apparel with that of everyday menswear," said the Creative Artists Agency's John Frierson, who brokered the deal with Grand National Apparel on McConaughey's behalf. "There remains a big expanse between casual menswear and performance brands at retail, and JKL, fueled by Grand National's expertise and capabilities, is poised to take advantage of this big growth opportunity." The line's debut collection for Spring 2013 -- called All-Journey Gear -- is now available at Dillard's and Dillards.com, Grand National said.

Actress Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth arrested in Atlanta

Film star Reese Witherspoon was charged with disorderly conduct after her husband was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in Atlanta, police say. The arrests took place after officers pulled over the couple's car early Friday because Witherspoon's talent agent husband, Jim Toth, was allegedly driving erratically, The Wrap reported. Witherspoon, 37, was arrested after she twice got out of the vehicle while the officers were interviewing Toth, 42. They were both taken to jail, booked and released from police custody at 3:30 a.m. Friday, The Wrap said. Witherspoon allegedly asked the arresting officer if he knew who she was, telling him, "You are going to be on national news." Toth was charged with DUI and Witherspoon with disorderly conduct. Witherspoon released a statement apologizing for her behavior, saying: "I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. I have nothing but respect for the police and I'm very sorry for my behavior." There was no word on when they are due in court to answer the charges.

It's Chaz Bono...

Two months after revealing a 43-lb. weight loss in February, Chaz Bono is now down a total of about 60 lbs. and "still slowly losing," he told PEOPLE. And the season 13 Dancing with the Stars contestant has not forgotten his ballroom days. "I still enjoy dancing. I still take classes," Bono, 44, said of his exercise-of-choice at Saturday's 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Also on his regimen: martial arts training. Still, Bono attributes his slimmer figure to what's on his plate. "I've just changed the way I eat," he reiterated. Bono used the Freshology delivered-meal plan to achieve his initial weight loss. "Diets don't work. You just have to change what you eat, and I have." He doesn't have a favorite health food, either. "I cook a lot of different stuff," adds Bono, who announced his public mission to lose 50 lbs. beginning in mid-November. "I really avoid grains and starches, so meats and vegetables and fruits are my diet. I make them all different ways to keep it interesting."
