Windex used as a stain remover

As long as you are not dealing with delicate silk fabrics, windex is a great way to get out ketchup and red wine stains. Lightly spray the stain with Windex and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Blot with a clean cloth, rinse using cold water, and wash as usual. For best results, use the uncolored Windex.

Windex used as a degreaser

Windex can soften built-up grease throughout the kitchen, especially on hard-to-clean range hoods, fans, and light fixtures. Spray surface liberally, let stand for about 10 minutes, and wipe clean. Be sure to rinse thoroughly with water to eliminate any cleanser residue on surfaces you prepare food on.
