Greetings,

The hit action comedy 'Cop Out' finds its way to shelves
this week. I must say, I saw it and considering the plot
(find in article) and the fact that actors Bruce Willis and
Tracy Morgan were selected to negotiate said plot, I was a
bit skeptical going into it. I was pleasantly surprised how
funny and enjoyable the film was. 'Cop Out' is one movie you
really shouldn't miss. It is a modernized throw back to the
police partner comedies from the 80?s!

Watch It Now,
Anisa

'Cop Out' DVD

Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan are paired in this buddy-cop
comedy directed by Kevin Smith. Jimmy (Willis) and Paul
(Morgan) are New York City police detectives who have been
partners for nine years. Jimmy is the older white guy, Paul
the fast-talking African-American guy. They're after a drug
dealer, but they have personal issues as well. Jimmy needs
to recover a valuable 1952 Andy Pafko baseball card so he
can pay for his daughter's wedding, while Paul is obsessed
with the idea his wife is playing around on him. Seann
William Scott appears in a supporting role.

'The Losers' DVD

This frenetic actioner is adapted from a series published by
the DC Comics' imprint Vertigo. The title refers to five
Special Forces guys who at the movie's beginning are on a
mission in the Bolivian jungle. A rogue CIA agent named Max
(Jason Patric) almost kills them and leaves them stranded.
Then they meet the sexy, dangerous Aisha (Zoe Saldana), who
gets them out on condition they kill Max. The Losers are
played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, Idris Elba,
Columbus Short and Oscar Jaenada. The movie is mainly about
fights, explosions and special effects.

'The Runaways' DVD

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning star in this film about
the 1970s all-girl rock band that gives the movie its title.
This is the first feature film directed by Floria Sigismondi,
who has a music video background. Set mostly in the L.A.
area, the movie focuses on guitarist Joan Jett (Stewart) and
lead singer Cherie Currie (Fanning). Another character is
promoter Kim Fowley (Michael Shannon), who acts as a sort of
Svengali for the teenage girls who make up the band. There's
plenty of drugs, sex and music as the Runaways have a
meteoric rise, then go into a downward spiral.
