from the 1960s TV series Batman.

FAMILY LIFE: She was married to singer/actor Jimmy Boyd

a career in acting found her instead. Her first appearances
were in the films Gidget and The Gene Krupa Story, both in
1959.

Later, while dating Elvis Presley, she had supporting roles
in his films, It Happened at the World's Fair (1963) and
Kissin' Cousins (1963). In 1966, she was cast as Batgirl in
the cult television series Batman. Her character was part
of the 67-68 season, which was the end of the run for the
show. She later appeared on other television programs such
as Star Trek (1966) and The Six Million Dollar Man (1974).
