BIRTH NAME: Michael Terry Weiss

CLAIM TO FAME: Known for his role on Days of Our Lives and in films such as The Pretender.

INFO: Weiss' acting career began when he was a child. He appeared in local TV commercials in Chicago, and at the age of 18 he appeared as an extra in the movie Ordinary People. His first major role was that of Mike Horton on the soap opera Days of our Lives.

He has appeared in the films The Pretender and Jeffrey, the animated series The Legend of Tarzan, and a recurring role on Crossing Jordan. He voiced "The Nameless One", the protagonist of computer game Planescape: Torment.

In February 2006, Weiss attended a benefit with his former Pretender co-stars Andrea Parker and James Denton for Cure Autism Now.

TRIVIA: His father was a steel-industry executive and his mother was a homemaker.

Has a sister, Jamie Sue Weiss, who became a make-up artist for television and films.

Went to Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois.

Worked as a personal trainer, with many of his clients being fellow actors.

Can accurately name each of the United States in alphabetical order (without a break to stop and think about it).

Can wiggle his ears.

Is a certified scuba diver.

WHERE IS HE NOW: In 2009, Weiss appeared in the play Impressionism, which opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on March 12, 2009. He also appeared in an Off-Broadway production of A Perfect Future at the Cherry Lane Theatre.

In 2012-2013, he appeared on the television series Young Justice as the voice of Nathaniel Adams / Captain Atom. Before that, he appeared in several episodes of the TV series Blue Bloods as Sonny Malevsky.
