BIRTH DATE: August 5, 1956, Encino, California

CLAIM TO FAME: She is best known for playing Marcia Brady on ABC's The Brady Bunch from 1969 to 1974.

FAMILY LIFE: She has been married to Michael Cummings since 1985, and they have a daughter named Natalie Michelle, who was born in 1989. The family lives in Westlake Village, northwest of Los Angeles.

INFO: McCormick's first brush with fame came at the age of six, when she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley beauty pageant. In 1964, she appeared in commercials for Mattel's Barbie and Chatty Cathy dolls, and lent her voice to a redesigned Chatty Cathy doll in 1970. From 1969 to early 1974, she played the eldest daughter, Marcia, on The Brady Bunch.

TRIVIA: Kaley Cuoco portrayed McCormick in Growing Up Brady.

McCormick's character Marcia Brady has been portrayed by Christine Taylor in The Brady Bunch Movie and A Very Brady Sequel.

Has three older brothers: Michael, Dennis and Kevin. Graduated from William Howard Taft High school in Woodland Hills, California.

Ranked #9 in VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Kid Stars".

Admitted on a TV Land special, she had a crush on all three of her television brothers: Barry Williams, Christopher Knight and Mike Lookinland at one time during the run of "The Brady Bunch" (1969).

Her husband Michael had heard of The Brady Bunch but had never seen it. She met him in a church.

WHERE IS SHE NOW: In 2007, McCormick appeared on the fifth season of VH1's reality show Celebrity Fit Club. She hoped to lose the 30 pounds she had gained since her mother's death from cancer.

McCormick ended up losing 34 pounds and was the individual winner of the series. In 2008, she was a cast member on the CMT reality show Gone Country which led to a spin-off reality series called Outsiders Inn in which she opened a bed and breakfast inn in Newport, Tennessee. In 2009, she appeared on Comedy Central's roast of Larry the Cable Guy. She also appeared in an episode of Scrubs as J.D.'s dream wife; however, she is married to him as Marcia Brady.

McCormick has gone through stints in rehab and experimental therapies, as well as a series of interventions for depression and paranoia. She once threatened to jump from a balcony in front of her husband. She has been treated with antidepressant medication since the 1990s. She has said that her friendships with former Brady Bunch cast members has also helped her.

In 2008, McCormick released her autobiography Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice.
