BIRTH DATE: April 30, 1975, Bree, Belgium

CLAIM TO FAME: He is well known for his role as David Healy on the ABC sitcom Roseanne.

FAMILY LIFE: He has been dating actress Kelli Garner since 2011.

INFO: Galecki's career began on the 1987 CBS miniseries Murder Ordained, which featured JoBeth Williams and future Roseanne co-star John Goodman. Galecki went on to play Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation before getting one of his best known roles, that of David Healy on the sitcom Roseanne. Later, he appeared in 1997's I Know What You Did Last Summer and the 1998 dark comedy The Opposite of Sex.

Other films include Bounce, Suicide Kings, Bean, and Vanilla Sky. He appeared as a delinquent in A Family Torn Apart, a TV movie based on a true story about a serial killer. Other sitcoms Galecki has appeared on include TBS's My Boys, and the series Hope & Faith.

He took his career to Broadway for a role as a male prostitute in The Little Dog Laughed, which required him to do his first full-frontal nude scene. He won a 2007 Theater World Award for his performance.

TRIVIA: Is a vegetarian.

Dated co-star Kaley Cuoco for two years while working on The Big Bang Theory. They kept their relationship private until they broke up.

Grew up in Oak Park, Illinois.

Appears in the music video for the Dave Matthews Band song "Satellite".

Is a cellist and has played cello on The Big Bang Theory.

His mother, Mary Lou, was a mortgage consultant.

His father, Richard, was a member of the U.S. Air Force stationed in Belgium and also worked as a rehabilitation teacher.

Has a younger brother, Nick, whom he describes as a mechanical genius in the automotive industry.

Has a younger sister, Allison.

WHERE IS HE NOW: Galecki currently stars on the hit TV series The Big Bang Theory as experimental physicist Leonard Hofstadter. The show debuted on September 24, 2007. In July 2011, he played himself on three episodes of Entourage.

He also appeared in the film In Time with Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried.

Galecki owns 360 acres of land in Santa Margarita, California. There are vineyards on his property and also a log cabin.
