BIRTH DATE: January 8, 1976, Las Vegas, Nevada

CLAIM TO FAME: She is known for her roles in such films as Troop Beverly Hills and The Wizard.

FAMILY LIFE: Her mother, Linda, was a professional singer, and her father, Eddie, was a member of the Harmonica Gang

INFO: After she made her professional debut in a Jell-o commercial, Lewis appeared in the 1986 Lucille Ball sitcom Life with Lucy as one of Lucy's grandchildren. Her TV credits include The New Twilight Zone, Baywatch, The Golden Girls, Growing Pains, Just the Ten of Us, Roseanne, Mr. Belvedere, and Brooklyn Bridge.

She went on to act in a bunch of teen-themed movies, notably Troop Beverly Hills and 1989's The Wizard. Other credits include the films Foxfire, Big Girls Don't Cry... They Get Even, and Pleasantville.

In 1998, Lewis and friends Pierre De Reeder, Dave Rock and then-boyfriend Blake Sennett formed the band Rilo Kiley. The band's indie rock sound gained the attention of Warner Bros., who signed the band for the release of their 2004 album Adventurous. The band stayed together until 2011, when they announced that they officially split up.

During this time, Lewis also released two solo albums, "Rabbit Fur Coat" in 2006, and "Acid Tongue" in 2008.

TRIVIA: Is Jewish.

Once appeared on the TV game show "Card Sharks" (1978), hosted by Bob Eubanks, as a contestant during a teen or junior week of the game.

Contributed vocals for the band The Postal Service.

Voiced the role of the Assistant Director for Walt Disney Pictures Bolt and provided the song "Barking at the Moon."

Performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California in 2009.

Makes an appearance on the track "Hard Enough", taken from the 2010 album Flamingo by fellow Las Vegas resident Brandon Flowers.

WHERE IS SHE NOW: She currently performs as part of the duo Jenny & Johnny with boyfriend Johnathan Rice.
