BIRTH DATE: September 12, 1962, Blue Ash, Ohio

CLAIM TO FAME: She is best known for her role as Casey Chapel Davenport on the sitcom Wings from 1994-1997.

FAMILY LIFE: Yasbeck was married to actor John Ritter until his death in 2003. She has one daughter with him named Stella (b. 1998). She is stepmother of Jason Ritter (born February 17, 1980), Carly Ritter (born March 1, 1982), Tyler Ritter (born 1984).

INFO: Yasbeck attended two different Catholic schools for her education from elementary through high school years: Summit Country Day School and Ursuline Academy.

She moved to New York after both of her parents died (her father died from her heart attack and her mother from emphysema).

Her television credits include the sitcom Wings, Alright Already, and Life on a Stick. She has been in such movies as House II: The Second Story, Pretty Woman, Problem Child, Problem Child 2,and The Mask.

For two years, she played Olivia Reed on the long-running daytime soap opera Days of our Lives.

TRIVIA: Is of half Irish and half Lebanese descent.

First met future husband John Ritter at director Dennis Dugan's house during a read-through of their 1990 movie Problem Child.

As a child, Yasbeck was featured on the cover of the Betty Crocker Easy Bake Oven. She was presented with a new Easy Bake Oven on the show "I've Got a Secret" (2000) for which she is a regular panel member.

Her late husband John died on their daughter Stella's fifth birthday, and a day before her 41st birthday.

Has twice worked with Mel Brooks, in 1993's Robin Hood: Men in Tights and 1995's Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

WHERE IS SHE NOW: In 2003, tragedy struck when Yasbeck's husband John Ritter died after falling ill on the set of his sitcom, 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. The cause of death was an aortic dissection stemming from a previously undiagnosed congenital heart defect.

In 2008, she appeared on Larry King Live to discuss heart disease in the wake of television personality Tim Russert's death.

In 2010, she was a contestant on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? In September of that year, she released her book "With Love and Laughter, John Ritter".
