Most women don't like their back side, but in recent discoveries it turns out that it may actually be healthy to have a rear end!

Your body storing your fat in your back side can actually be helpful because it keeps the fatty acids away from the heart, arteries, and liver, which lowers your risk of heart disease and debilitation problems like diabetes. Our bodies are ultimately designed to decide whether to store the fat in the butt or stomach reason and with women, your hormones actually direct and distribute the fat to your butt to help protect your heart!

This only works for women who are not going through menopause or having significant changes in hormones though. When women's hormones change they lost the protection of their butt and will become at risk for cardiovascular disease and diabetes the same as men of that age range.

Keep in mind though that when your behind is larger it can lead to major discomfort in your rectum and cause hemmorrhoids. This is a sign it might be time to downsize that butt!

Your butt is specifically designed based on the way you walk and how strong the muscles are in your feet and back. Our gluteal muscles are there so that we can effectively walk upright.
-If you have weak core muscles in your back, it can cause you to have a droopy bottom.
-If your hips look bulkier rather than having a droop, you have a problem with your feet!
*change up your workout routine so that you can strengthen the muscles that your other muscles are compensating for!*

With just one look at your rear end, any expert should be able to tell a lot about what you need to do to lead a healthier life. It can help to see if you are prone to major health problems, as well as if your lower region is in need of a change in routine. Make sure to listen to your body and do what you can to stay as healthy as possible. And next time you go to your doctor for a check up, make sure to ask your doctor what your butt is telling them!
