Hi Everyone,

I had to share this readers comment that I received yesterday
about my column regarding the Handy Coolers....

Those Handy Coolers are great, aren't they?! We used them
while at the Grand Canyon and they were a god-send. In a
pinch (while at the Taste one year during a heatwave - we
forgot to pack the HC's) we stopped at the drug store and
got those things you pop and they cool (mainly used for
injuries) for cheap. If we hadn't had them we probably
would have passed out from the heat!

To remove salty residue from terra-cotta pots, scrub with a
mixture of 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol and
1/4 cup water. The vinegar removes the salt, and the rubbing
alcohol sanitizes them.
