Howard Stern Announces Departure From 'America's Got Talent'...
Howard Stern revealed Wednesday that he intends on leaving the judge's chair on America's Got Talent.

The television personality and radio host shared the news via his SiriusXM radio show that he will not return for the NBC competition's next season. "I told them, this is my last season," he said.

"I am going though my own career evaluation right now. I'm just too [expletive] busy." Deadline reports that the self-proclaimed "king of media" was given a "great opportunity" in TV.

Stern, 61, has appeared as a judge on America's Got Talent for four seasons.

While mentioning who could possibly replace his charismatic judgeship, Stern dropped Simon Cowell's name into the mix. Cowell is a judge on the British version of the show, "He would be good at it," Stern said.

When Stern joined the show in 2012, NBC reportedly paid him $15 million a season and initially accommodated him by moving the set to New York from California so he could continue airing The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM.

Anthony Geary Says Goodbye To 'General Hospital'...
Anthony Geary couldn't hold back tears as current and former show members gathered to bid him farewell on his last day on the set of General Hospital.

After his final taping, over 200 cast and crew members came together on the Los Angeles set's soundstage to "pay tribute" to the actor, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Kin Shriner, Finola Hughes, Lynn Herring and Genie Francis were among the group saluting the 68-year-old actor, who reprised the dynamic role of Luke Spencer on the ABC soap opera for over 35 years.

"Thank you for putting up with me as a petulant teenager," said Francis (Laura), about their famous onscreen relationship. "Thank you for the best acting partnership I've ever known."

The eight-time Emmy winner first joined the ABC soap in 1978, and cried as he recalled memorable scenes from his character's troubled past with cast mates.

"I'm excited to raise the curtain on act 3, to reinvent myself in my new home to pursue whatever opportunity there may be. It's an exciting prospect to me," Geary told the magazine. "They've done a wonderful job of wrapping up the character. So this seems like the ideal time to go."

Though his farewell was bittersweet, Geary was optimistic about GH's future.

"It's enjoying a bit of a resurgence," he said. "It was scary there for two or three years when every thing was being cancelled. The network thought that talk shows should take over because people weren't going to be interested in soaps. But there has been a resurgence and I think that's hopeful sign. I don't believe it's the end of the medium. Serialization is a great way to tell stories."

Geary's final episode will air later this summer.

PBS Postpones Season 3 of 'Finding Your Roots'...
PBS says it will postpone airing the third season of its genealogy series Finding Your Roots until new measures are implemented to ensure the program's accuracy and integrity.

The decision was announced Wednesday after the network concluded its internal review regarding Ben Affleck's episode of the show, which aired last October. In April, the media reported on hacked, private email exchanges between Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. -- the show's host and executive producer -- and Sony Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Michael Lynton, referencing requests by Affleck to omit from the episode the fact that slave ownership is part of his family history.

These reports marked the first time that either PBS or WNET -- the producing station for the first two seasons of the program -- learned of Affleck's request.

PBS and WNET have determined that the series co-producers -- Inkwell Films, Gates' company, and Kunhardt McGee Productions -- violated PBS standards by failing to shield the creative and editorial process from improper influence, and by failing to inform PBS or WNET of Affleck's efforts to affect program content.

PBS said it has apprised WETA, the producing station for the third season of the series, of its findings. The network said an additional researcher/fact-checker is being hired for the show's staff and an independent genealogist will be employed to review all versions of program episodes for factual accuracy.

PBS will also withdraw Affleck's episode from all forms of distribution, including on-air, digital platforms and home video.

"Editorial integrity is essential to PBS. As a mission-driven media enterprise, we know that earning and keeping the trust of the American public are our most important priorities," Beth Hoppe, PBS Chief Programming Executive and General Manager of General Audience Programming, said in a statement. "The co-producers of Finding Your Roots have a strong track record of creating high-quality programming for PBS over many years. Improved editorial and production processes will ensure that all future projects will adhere to PBS' editorial guidelines."

??? Guess Who ???

The young star who explains why he wore a Batman suit?

It's Will and Jada's sone, Jaden Smith... Jaden says he wears his Batman suit for fun and to provide a sense of security.

The 16-year-old actor revealed as much in an interview with GQ published Tuesday. Smith first wore the outfit to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding in May 2014, and sported the suit again at friend Mecca Kalani's prom in May.

"I wore the Batman suit to heighten my experience at the wedding and prom which was fun, but also at the wedding I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so," the star explained.

The all-white outfit consists of a full bodysuit with armor and a cape. Smith is no stranger to unusual fashion choices, and told the magazine his style icons are DC Comics characters Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Superman and rapper Kanye West.

"I'm just expressing how I feel inside, which is really no particular way because everyday it changes how I feel about the world and myself, but I like wearing super drapey things so I can feel as though I'm a superhero, but don't have to necessarily wear superhero costumes everyday."

Smith is the eldest child of actor Will Smith and actress Jada Pinkett Smith, and brother to singer Willow Smith. He is known for starring with his dad in The Pursuit of Happyness and After Earth, and has also pursued a career as a rapper.
