Michael Douglas announced Val Kilmer has cancer: 'Things don't look too good for him'
According to Michael Douglas, Val Kilmer is currently battling cancer, saying "things don't look too good for him."

"Val was a wonderful guy who is dealing with exactly what I had, and things don't look too good for him. My prayers are with him," Douglas said in an interview in London on Sunday. "That's why you haven't heard too much from Val lately."

Douglas beat stage 4 oral cancer in 2013.

Kilmer had previously denied having any serious health issues, even after being seen with a tracheostomy tube in 2015.

Kilmer, known for his roles in Top Gun, Batman, and Tombstone, recently posted a video to Facebook while dressed as David Bowie. He has not made any recent statements regarding his health.

"I hate to sound like a hippie, but I kind of am one and so is he. We love each other, that's it. It's just about life changes, and we all go through different stages and we're focused on different things."

20.8 million tuned in for 'The Walking Dead' Season 7 premiere
This week's Season 7 premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead has been seen by 20.8 million total viewers.

The cable network revealed the Sunday-night program's viewership Friday.

The latest episode of the zombie-apocalypse drama featured the gruesome deaths of longtime characters Glenn and Abraham -- played by Steven Yeun and Michael Cudlitz -- at the hands of new villain Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

"When millions of fans come together at almost exactly the same time to share a story – a story elevated, that viewers anticipate and have time to let sink in and discuss, moments we collectively feel – it's as good as television gets and a reminder of the power of weekly storytelling," Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios, said in a statement. "This week, The Walking Dead once again provided that for all of us. Rest in peace, Glenn and Abraham. You will never be forgotten."
