*** A WORD FROM THE KITCHEN ***

Well have you got all you plans set for this
Memorial Day weekend? Let the barbecues begin!
You have your preference of what kind if main course
you like to grill, from burgers to T-bones but what
to go along with it? I'm dedicating today to a great
grilling side to complete any BBQ menu...FOIL PACKET
GRILLED TATERS AND ONIONS. I suppose you could even
hand onto this one for any campfire too but don't
have directly in the fire.

Are you an Al Bundy one time annual clean the grill
kind of guy or gal? You are probably not alone but
it is a good idea to get in more of a habit and
the best time is right after you use it. Take a
peek at the Corner for some tips.

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

REGULARLY CLEAN YOUR GRILL:

Both charcoal and gas grills should be cleaned every
time you use it. Make sure that the grates are cleaned
after you grill and brush off the sides and lid after
every use. For gas grills you should also regularly
lift out the cooking grate and clean off the barrier
above the burners. This might be lava rock, briquettes,
or a variously shaped metal plate, but it should get
cleaned of the cooked on grease and food particles
periodically.
