Greetings Infomaniacs, Last week I learned how to decorate a cake from scratch for the first time! Two of my friends had taken a cake decorating class together before, so when another friend needed help making a cake for her son's first birthday, she called on them for their decorating expertise. I just tagged along for the learning experience.
It turns out that I really liked learning how to do it! My friend Stacy had all of the special equipment for piping to create different designs, as well as coloring for the frosting.
We ended up making a snowman cake masterpiece, and even made a mini-size snowman for the birthday boy's "smash" cake! Now that I've been inspired, I might have to consider taking a class on this in the future....

Planting an apple seed from a particular apple will not produce a tree of that same variety. The seed is a cross of the tree the fruit was grown on and the variety that was the cross pollinator.
