TRIVIA TODAY - Friday, January 2, 2015
Greetings Infomaniacs,Congratulations to "
Louisa Carlton" who won this week's "Mind Scrambler". Here was the scrambler:
I will help you with your writing,
Probably through me you will see,
But if you want to ship me,
You'll put me right inside of me.
I wear many different hats you know,
In construction plus I'm tracing,
I also do work for the board,
Lots of kids use me for a racing.
You can fold me, tear me,
Rip me without using all your might,
But be careful how you touch me,
I may give you my famous bite.
What am I?
ANSWER: Paper
Enjoy!

HINT: (1939-), American fashion designer, philanthropist, and business executive.
RANDOM TIDBITS"Coco" was the nickname for the revolutionary fashion designer Coco Chanel. Her actual first name was Gabrielle.
Before Chanel, black was a color of mourning only; after she began to work with it, black became synonymous with chic.
Chanel couldn't actually sew, but she did possess a great skill for draping and pinning. She would pin the garment the way she wanted it to look and then hand it to her workers to create.
Chanel No. 5 perfume was introduced in 1921. The number was chosen because it was the fifth sample presented to Chanel and the one she liked best.
When Coco returned from vacation with a dark tan in the 1920s, tanning quickly became a symbol of wealth and leisure. Prior to this, no proper woman would expose her delicate, pale skin to the sun.
In 1945, Chanel lived in exile in Switzerland after she became romantically involved with a Nazi officer.
