TRIVIA TODAY - Wednesday, January 18, 2012
Greetings Infomaniacs,I know that Friday the 13th was last week, but that doesn't mean we can't learn more about it today, right? Does anyone have a fear of Friday the 13th, or take extra caution? I actually don't get too nervous on this day, but I am superstitious about other things, such as walking under a ladder, spilling salt, or breaking a mirror.
I broke my hand mirror the weekend before Halloween last year and it shattered everywhere. I was completely freaking out because not only it supposedly means seven years of bad luck, but also because it happened so close to Halloween and I was even in costume ready to go a party. Yikes! However, so far (knock on wood), I haven't been tainted with much bad luck, so I'm hoping I'm in the clear!
Enjoy!

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt had an abnormal fear of the number "13." The President would never host 13 guests at a meal and refused to travel on the 13th day of any month.
