Trivia Today - Wednesday, March 19, 2014

Greetings Infomaniacs,

One of my closest friends is getting married next month, and this past weekend was her bachelorette party. We attended a painting party at an art studio in Chicago where you can bring your own drinks and snacks and spend a few hours painting with your friends. We were provided with art supplies, a blank canvas, and instruction from art teachers who walked around the room.

I have never taken a painting class in my life, and this proved quite obvious as we began our masterpieces. I decided to be ambitious and attempt to copy an abstract painting of a tree. I knew about halfway through that I had aimed too high, especially when my friend came over and remarked, "That looks like an octopus!"

I took a picture of it and sent it to my boyfriend asking him what he thought it was. His response: "Maybe a lizard spewing something out of its mouth?"

Clearly, I won't be starting a career in painting anytime soon...

Enjoy!
Melissa
