During the Championship period of Wimbledon 2014, 54,250 balls were used.
The longest Wimbledon match ever lasted 11 hours and five minutes (Isner v Mahut 2010).
The first year that yellow balls were used was 1986. Prior to that Wimbledon used white balls.
The total prize money dedicated to Wimbledon 2015 was 26.75 million pounds. This is an increase of 7.6 percent from 2014.
There are a total of 250 ball kids, chosen from around 750 entries.
It was 2007 that the women's champion started to receive the same amount of prize money that the men's champion received.
