RANDOM TIDBITS

Cadbury introduced its first cream-filled egg in 1923, but
the brand we know today was not launched until 1971.

***

In 1975, the Cadbury Creme Egg was advertised for the first
time on television. A boy asks a shopkeeper for ?600 Cadbury
Creme Eggs please?.

***

The egg is made by pouring liquid chocolate into a half-egg
shaped mold, which is then filled with white fondant and
then a dab of yellow fondant to simulate the yolk. The two
mold halves are closed very quickly and cooled to allow the
chocolate to set.

Cadbury Dancing Eyebrow Commercial

If dancing eyebrows make you think of chocolate you might
work in advertising for Cadbury. While displaying
impressing muscle control, these creepy kids are more
likely to make you think of a horror movie than chocolate.

The Cadbury Creme Egg plant at Bournville UK can produce
more than 1.5 million eggs per day. In the UK, over 200
million cream eggs are sold annually, three for every
person in the UK.

***

The original advertising for the treat featured the
tagline "How do you eat yours?", based on the fact that
there are so many different ways to enjoy the egg.

***

In 2008, the new 'Here Today, Goo Tomorrow' campaign was
launched, showcasing creme eggs on amusing missions to
release their Goo.

has full sight of the entire room and everyone in it
without turning his head or body, or moving in any way
(other than the eyes). Where can you place an apple so
