TRIVIA TODAY - Wednesday, December 11, 2013

Greetings Infomaniacs,

Here is a reader's superglue story:

"I have a good one for you I put super glue in my eye once. I thought it was a bottle of eyedrops picked it up and got it to my eye. I smelled it and realized what I had done but a small amount did get in my eye. My boy friend thank God was home, i started screaming and he ran into the bedroom and told me not to close my eye he got a warm cloth and wiped the majority of it off my eyelashes and skin.

He forced me to keep my eye open and he took me to the Emergency Room. The Dr there said due to his quick thinking he saved me from having to be put under and taken to surgery where they would have had to unglue my eyelid. The protein in ones actual eye ball would keep it from adhering to it so all in all it could have been much worse. If I had been home alone I would have freaked out for sure. So the moral of my story always make sure the bottle you have in your hand is eye drops before you bring it up to your eye!"

Wow! Thanks for sharing your story, Hope. I am so glad that your boyfriend's quick thinking saved you from your eye having to be surgically unglued!

Enjoy!
