Hello Travel Enthusiasts,

The Germans originated Oktoberfest as a way to celebrate the
Autumn's harvest. Now it seems that Oktoberfests are popping
up all over the place.

I went to one in Chicago last month that supported a local
church founded by German immigrants in 1882. The main draw
of the fest was certainly the many varieties of beer offered,
but there was also live entertainment, homemade bratwursts,
and activities for kids.

Today's clip will give you a feel as to what an authentic
Munich Oktoberfest is like. Enjoy!

Thanks for reading!

Munich's Oktoberfest
Current rating: 3.8

In Europe 'Autumn' has always meant the fruits of harvest.
One of Autumn's greatest festivals to celebrate the harvest
is Oktoberfest, which happens wherever Germans have settled.
