We all know that we lead busy lives and sometimes, things get pushed into a closet, a corner, a spare room, to be dealt with later. We all want to make things easier to find, easier to organize, and easier to use. Here are some great helpful tips for the home! There are so many fun, creative ideas that they can't fit in just one email. Look for part two on Monday.

-Use an over the door shoe holder to hold all cleaning supplies. It makes them easily accessible and visible without cluttering a shelf or under a sink. Plus, you can add labels for rows to keep each room separated, and use a dry erase marker on the pocket to mark which supplies are low for easy restocking.

-If the above option isn't feasible, put an adjustable rod under the sink and hang cleaning bottles from it. It will leave space free on the floor of the cabinet for baskets to hold brushes, sponges, etc.

-Put a paper clip on the edge of a roll of duct, masking, or packing tape so that you can easily find the end every time!

-To hold sports balls in your garage together, use boards to build a top and bottom, then attach bungee cords going vertically to hold the balls all together.

-Put an empty egg carton in a kitchen drawer to help keep clutter to a minimum. The side that holds the eggs can hold small items, while the top can hold scissors, pencils, etc.

-For smaller bathrooms that don't have a lot of cabinet or counter space, put a shelf over the door and put items that aren't used on a daily basis in baskets or other containers on that shelf.

-Instead of taking up a whole shelf (or more), go to Ikea and get magnetic spice containers. Put them on the side of the fridge for easy visibility and accessibility!

-When folding your shirts instead of putting them on top of one another in the drawer stack them together and put them in vertically. It saves space and make for easy viewing! *I just did this last weekend and cannot believe how much more I can fit in my drawers now!*

-Use old metal tea boxes and magnets to create pencil, pen, and marker holders that can be put on the fridge. You'll always have something handy for your shopping list on the fridge!

-Put small baskets in the freezer to help keep things organized as well as give you more space to work with in the freezer!

-Use large black paper clips on your desk to hold up cords for your computer (phone, usb, cable, etc.). These cords normally fall behind the desk, causing you to have to dig for them! This way, they will always be within your reach!

-Use a peg board in the garage to hold sporting equipment. The boards created for holding your tools will work as well. It can easily hold your rackets, gloves, bats, helmets, frisbees, hockey sticks, etc.

-For a great drying rack in your laundry room, paint a ladder and hand it horizontally from the ceiling. It may look funny, but it will give you plenty of space to hang things!

-Put a magnetic board on the wall in your bathroom and apply magnets to your makeup and brushes to keep everything easily at hand and visible!

-For large bathrooms with small vanities or storage space, put bars on the wall. Hang loops through wicker baskets and fill with lotions, towels, etc.

-To store curling or flat irons, cut PVC pipes to fit them and secure the pipes to the inside of a cabinet or door. Put a smaller pipe next to it for the cords. *Remember: Do not store these items in a bathroom with a shower*

-You can also use a newspaper hold for a desk and secure it to the inside of a cabinet or door to hold curling irons and flat irons if you prefer.

We all prefer to have a clean, uncluttered house. I know that there is not one aspect of my house that doesn't have some clutter in it, despite my need to clean it all. It's just not always possible with a family and with a full-time job, but some of these will help for easier, smoother days or clean ups!
