Tim Burton honored at Hollywood handprint ceremony
Filmmaker Tim Burton has had his hand- and footprints enshrined in cement outside of the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Winona Ryder, who appeared in Burton's horror-comedy Beetlejuice and iconic fantasy/romance Edward Scissorhands, and Martin Landau, who co-starred in Ed Wood, attended Thursday's event celebrating their friend and colleague.

Burton, 58, is also famous for his work on the movies Big Eyes, Dark Shadows, Frankenweenie, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Big Fish, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride, Batman and Pee-wee's Big Adventure.

His next film is Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

Report: Natalie Portman is pregnant with her second child
Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman is pregnant with her second child.

Both E! News and Us Weekly reported that Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied are expecting a new baby, however the media outlets did not offer details regarding the gender or anticipated due date of their bundle of joy.

Us Weekly said the actress was seen rubbing her baby bump at the premiere of her film Planetarium at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday.

Portman, 35, and choreographer Millepied, 39, met while making the 2010 ballet movie Black Swan and got married in 2012. They have a 5-year-old son named Aleph.

Which Magic Mike star has been confirmed to portray villain Deathstroke in Ben Affleck's solo Batman film?

Joe Manganiello has been confirmed to appear as major DC Comics villain Deathstroke in Ben Affleck's upcoming solo Batman film.

The casting was confirmed Thursday by famed comic book writer and DC Entertainment president and chief creative offiicer Geoff Johns while speaking with The Wall Street Journal.

Johns, who is helping Affleck craft the Batman film, offered no other details outside of Manganiello stepping into the role such as when The Dark Knight's next adventure will hit screens or if Deathstroke is set to make a cameo in Justice League which is currently filming in London.

Affleck set to direct the Batman project, teased Deathstroke's appearance in Warner Bros. DC Extended Universe recently on social media by posting a video featuring the high-skilled assassin for hire staring menacingly at the camera as he sported his signature blue and orange armor.

Deathstroke, aka Slade Wilson, and also nicknamed The Terminator, was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez in 1980. Known for taking on the Teen Titans and hunting down heroes for the right price, Deathstroke possesses incredible strength, reflexes, a brilliant tactical mind and the ability to regenerate.

The fan-favorite character has appeared in numerous comics, animated shows like Cartoon Network's hit Teen Titans series, video games and most recently was portrayed by actor Manu Bennett on Arrow.
