Questions Swirl Around Tiger Woods's Accident...
Tiger Woods, fiercely protective of his private life, is
suddenly at the center of a storm of media speculation after
an early morning car crash outside his Florida home on Friday.
At around 2:25 a.m. on Nov. 27, the golf champion steered his
SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree just feet from his house in
the gated community of Islesworth, Florida.
What was Tiger doing at the wheel of his car at that hour...
and what caused him to crash?
Those questions remain unanswered. "When officers got there,
he was laying in the street," Windermere Police Chief Daniel
Saylor said. "His wife had broken out the back window with a
golf club to get into the vehicle and pull him out."
Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren, reportedly used two golf clubs
to shatter the back window of Woods's SUV in an effort to
remove him from the vehicle. "She was frantic, upset," Saylor
said. "It was her husband laying on the ground."
Tiger had lacerations on his lower and upper lips and blood in
his mouth, says Saylor, and lapsing in and out of consciousness.
Alcohol was reportedly not a factor. When asked at the press
briefing whether Tiger and Elin had been arguing, Saylor
said he had no knowledge of that.
Two troopers tried to interview the golfer Friday, but his wife
said he was sleeping and the officers agreed to come back
Saturday, Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.
The accident came two days after the National Enquirer alleged
that Tiger has been seeing another woman, New York night club
hostess Rachel Uchitel, with whom Tiger reportedly spent time
in Melbourne, Australia, where he recently competed in the
Australian Masters.
Uchitel has since denied an affair with Woods. "I resent my
reputation is getting completely blasted in the media," she
said, although she added that she has met Tiger. "Everyone is
assuming I came out and said this. This is not a story I have
anything to do with."

Chelsea Clinton Engaged to Longtime Beau...
It'll be a first-family wedding for former first daughter Chelsea
Clinton. The daughter of President Bill Clinton and Secretary of
State Hillary Rodham Clinton is engaged to her longtime boyfriend,
Marc Mezvinsky.
Chelsea, of course, is the former first couple's only child.
Mezvinsky, a banker and fellow Stanford alumnus, is the 31-year-
old son of former Iowa congressman Ed Mezvinsky and former
Pennsylvania congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinksy. The two
became engaged on Thanksgiving, which they spent in New York.
On Friday, the pair sent out an e-mail to friends and family,
saying: "We're sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish
everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share
that we are engaged! We didn't get married this past summer
despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward
next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us.

David Hasselhoff Hospitalized, Ex-Wife Gets DUI...
David Hasselhoff and his ex-wife Pamela Bach are having a
troubled start to the holiday season, one landing in the
hospital, the other in jail over the Thanksgiving weekend.
David was hospitalized for two days,though his attorney
Mel Goldsman would not disclose the nature of his illness.
"David is home now and he's fine," says Goldsman. David's
troubles began at home on Friday. Though authorities did not
identify the name of the patient or the owner of the home, a
fire department spokesman did confirm that paramedics
responded to a call for medical aid at 11:51 a.m. at a home
in Encino, and the patient was transported by ambulance to a
local hospital. Officials learned that the address of the home
matches the one owned by David.
Also, David's ex-wife Pamela was arrested on a DUI charge by
the California Highway Patrol on Saturday night while driving
down the 101 Freeway near Laurel Canyon Blvd. Accordingto a Los
Angeles Police Department jail spokesman, she was taken into
custody at the Van Nuys jail and later released on her own
recognizance.
"There was no bail. She is fine. She was picked up and driven
home by a friend," Pamela's publicist says. "She will deal
with this."

Tom Arnold Ties the Knot Again...
The fourth time just might be the charm for Tom Arnold, who
wed Ashley Groussman in an intimate ceremony on Saturday in
Maui.
More than 75 family and friends attended the ceremony at Shep
and Renee Gordon's home, including actor Dax Shepard, who
served as Tom's best man. Andrea Groussman was the maid of
honor and designed the couple's rings.
tom and home organizer Ashley, who wore a Claire Pettibone
gown, met through mutual friends in April 2008. "I knew that
if I could get Ashley to fall in love with me, I'd never have
to worry about anything else as long as I lived," Tom wrote
on the couple's weddingchannel.com page. The two became engaged
this past March at Tom's 50th birthday party. "I'm the luckiest
girl in the world!" Ashley wrote.

It's Robert Pattinson...
Robert has long spoken of his desire to launch a music career,
but admits he doesn't want to be seen as an actor-turned-pop star.
Robert, who recorded two songs for the "Twilight" soundtrack,
is adamant he will never use his fame from the vampire movies to
bolster a music career, so he's planning to release a secret CD.
He tells French magazine Paris Match, "I write songs, that's true.
I'll record a few tracks as soon as I finish the promotion for
the movies, but before I won't do anything. I don't want to release
an album which has a sticker on it saying 'By the vampire of
Twilight' on it.
"If the record is released one day there won't be my name or my
picture on the cover. Everyone would be biased. No one would
listen to it. Before I was famous I would have loved to perform
in bars and pubs. But this isn't possible anymore."
