Greetings Thrifty Friends,
Sure, buying new is nice, but it is also more expensive. Why pay more than you have to? There are plenty of things you can save lots of money on without sacrificing any quality just by buying them used.
Please scroll down for a few examples.
Keep pinchin' those pennies,

TODAY'S THRIFTY TIP:
Cars - Save yourself thousands on the new car mark-up and save on insurance, too.
Houses - You can get more features for less money and you are more likely to be able to negotiate a deal on a previously owned house.
Books - If you can't stand going to the library for some reason there is absolutely no reason you should pay more for the exact same words just because nobody has broken the spine yet.
Sporting gear & luxury items - That person who thought he was going to lose all that weight playing racquetball or who thought he was going to spend all of his spare time fishing, will be looking to get rid of his racquets or his bass boat for whatever he can get for them in this economy.
