1 Corinthians 13:1-3
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but
have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging
cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all
mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith,
so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am
nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and
though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it
profits me nothing.

My husband and I recently celebrated another wedding
anniversary. Being the romantic that he is, my husband
always manages to surprise me in some way or another, but
this year he really outdid himself.
We are both pretty sentimental about our wedding date;
maybe it is because our courtship lasted nearly ten years.
It tells a lot about our personalities that he has always
done the planning; I try to make it up to him on his birthday
but usually can't match his eclectic style!
We are both so thankful that God saw fit, out of billions
of people in the world, to bring us together so many years
ago, to share this walk of life!
