--DAILY BIBLE VERSE:

Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man's all.
For God will bring every work into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Both sobering and encouraging to realize that every secret, in word or deed is known to God.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

So many people write asking where specific verses are in the Word of God. For anyone who does not have one, an absolute must is a good Bible concordance for both the Old and New Testaments. Many Bibles have a small, "toy" concordance in the back but to really be able to find verses, a medium to large sized concordance is a great investment.

An extensive concordance will list every occurrence of almost every word in the Bible; all you have to do is remember at least one key word of the verse you want to find. Usually you will end up finding much more than you were looking for!

There is quite a bit of variation depending on which translation the concordance adheres to, so you probably want to find a concordance that correlates with the specific Bible version that you read. Any Christian Book Store will typically carry many different versions to choose from.

This would be a great gift to give to someone you love, and to yourself as well!

God Bless You!

--FEATURED FUNNY:

My eight-year-old grandson Jonathan was waiting in line at an ice cream stand and hanging on to the hand of his three-year-old cousin Mark, who kept yelling impatiently, "I want vanilla!"

The stand was out of vanilla, but the older boy handled the situation with all the skill of a child psychologist. He bought two strawberry cones and handed one to his cousin, saying, "Here you are - pink vanilla!"

--ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. How old was Moses when he died and where was he buried?

A. 120 years, in a valley in the land of Moab

So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day.

Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.

Deuteronomy 34:5-7

It is interesting to note that the Bible says that Moses was buried by the hand of God; that a man of his stature would have died alone and no one knows where his grave is "to this day."
