February 8, 2012Hello Everyone,Unplug DVD players and TVs, or plug them all into a power
strip you can switch off. Sixty to 80 percent of the
electricity they use is consumed while they?re idle,
powering light displays and ?instant on? features (such
as the remote?s ability to talk to the TV). Cracking down
on greedy electronics can save you up to $175 a year.

Hint 1: Great way not to lose extra nuts, screws, and bolts. I have to start getting in the habit of doing this...
Whenever you repair something or take it apart, tape the nuts, bolts or screws to the object so that you won't misplace any tiny pieces.

Hint 2: My Dad actually taught me this tip below with leftover pizza. And let me tell you....it's why better than using the microwave. The crust stays crispy, it's heated evenly...mmm pizza.
Heat up leftover pizza in a nonstick skillet on top of the
stove, set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps
the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the
cooking channel and it really works.
